Celebrity Cruises has launched a series of digital initiatives and revealed Celebrity Silhouette will sail a range of no-fly European itineraries when the ship returns to Southampton next year. The vessel starts the season with a nine-night
cruise to Spain, Portugal and France, departing on April 21, 2022. Prices start at £1,499 for an
Ocean View Stateroom, based on two sharing. Silhouette will also offer a seven-night
Norwegian Fjords cruise departing May 7, 2022, visiting Bergen, the Geirangerfjord area and Stavanger. It costs from £1,299 based on two people sharing. Later in the season, Silhouette will operate three
sailings to Scandinavia and Russia. The line has unveiled its first digital ‘Selling Guide’,
which provides information for agents about the 2,902-passenger Silhouette.
The guide will also help the trade to sell Celebrity’s 2022-23 luxury cruises, with information presented in a flipbook format. It features selling tips and videos, along with
N
interactive links to access other support tools, such as flyers and digital brochures. Celebrity has also launched a ‘Power Up Points’ scheme, to run for four weeks. It will enable agents to earn Celebrity Rewards points by connecting with the brand through interactive activities on social media, and through sales. The more agents participate in activities on social
media, the more points they can earn. To start the scheme, Celebrity Cruises is asking
agents to share their favourite sales tip from the Selling Guide by commenting on its UK or Ireland agent Facebook pages. Five winners will be selected and given £10/€12 worth of Rewards points.
