Oceania plans ‘extensive’ revamp of cabins and public spaces on Marina
Oceania Cruises’ Marina is to undergo a major refit this autumn. The 1,250-passenger vessel, launched in 2011, will see an “extensive transformation” while in dry dock in October. The stem-to-stern refurbishment will include redesigns of all cabins and enhancements to public spaces. A nine-night sailing from Barcelona on November 5 following the revamp leads in from £1,512.

NCL calls on agents to step it up for Walk for Wellness challenge
Norwegian Cruise Line has set a 100,000-mile goal for its third Walk for Wellness initiative in May. Agents must register to take
part by April 30 and add steps to a community scoreboard in the Wellbeing+ app. Prizes up for grabs include Ninja blenders and £100 gift vouchers. At the end of the month,
NCL will donate £10,000 to Abta LifeLine and €5,000 to the Irish Travel Agents Assocation’s Benevolent Fund. Gary Anslow, vice-president

MSC reveals new World Asia features plus Bahamas plans 20

MSC Cruises has revealed new features of its upcoming new flagship MSC World Asia, alongside plans to launch a second private island and a beach
club, both in the Bahamas. World Asia will sail seven-night itineraries from
December 4, with destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia, Naples and Valletta. The line’s third World Class vessel will feature a new
design for family-friendly area The Harbour, while the AquaDeck district will be equipped with seven pools and 13 whirlpool baths. The Harbour will have an Asia-inspired design and
feature a new outdoor area for children called The Play Deck. It will also boast the longest dry slide at sea, called The Tree of Life @ The Spiral, spanning 11 decks and measuring 81 metres. Newly designed pools in the AquaDeck include the outdoor Manila Bay Pool and Pearl Lagoon Bar,

while the indoor Coral Cove & Coral Bar will have a retractable glass roof. A seven-night cruise on World Asia departing from
Marseille on January 23, 2027, leads in at £629. The itinerary includes ports of call in Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina, Valletta and Barcelona. New private island Sandy Cay will be located next to
the line’s current private destination Ocean Cay Marine Reserve and is due to open in 2028. Meanwhile, CTL Maritime, the infrastructure arm
of MSC Group, will develop an MSC Beach Club at the Grand Lucayan complex on Grand Bahama Island.

Holland America unveils flights promotion for Caribbean sailings
