G Adventures charters 128-berth vessel for Antarctica sailings
G Adventures is chartering a new expedition ship for the 2025-26 Antarctica sailing season. Currently named Ocean
Adventurer, the vessel will be renamedExpedition in tribute toG Adventures’ much-loved ‘little red ship’ which had been operating for more than 15 years. The new 128-passenger
ship will embark on its first G Adventures departure to Antarctica in October, operating five itineraries. The ship has 70 cabins, a
restaurant and bar, library, fitness area, observation and sun deck and outdoor hot tubs. It is also said to be “significantly more” fuel-efficient than its predecessor. Prices start at £6,899 for the
11-day Antarctica Classic cruise.

National Geographic-Lindblad unveils first river cruise range

National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions has launched its first range of European river cruises. Beginning in April 2026, the brand will operate
two eight-day Rhine itineraries, with sailings from Amsterdam to Brussels and Cologne to Basel, aboard the 120-passenger river ship Connect, built in 2025. The Rhine River: Castles, Culture and Culinary
Delights itinerary takes clients from Mainz, Frankfurt and Heidelberg in Germany to Strasbourg and Colmar in France’s Alsace region. Highlights include a reception hosted by the lord of Rheinstein Castle and several private wine tastings, from riesling served by nuns at St Hildegard Abbey to the Cave Historique des Hospices de Strasbourg. Clients can also tour the Frankfurt home of German
writer Goethe on a private visit and dine with university students in Heidelberg.
Lata to host roadshows in June in Cardiff, Oxford and Brighton
The Latin American Travel Association (Lata) will host its third edition of the Lata Roadshow from June 9-11 in three new cities: Cardiff, Oxford and Brighton. Agents interested in selling Latin America can register to attend for free. The roadshow features business speed-dating sessions, plus food and drinks, themed entertainment and a prize draw.

Tui expands Asia portfolio with
hotels in Cambodia and China Tui has opened its first hotel in Cambodia as part its Asia expansion plans. The 189-room Tui Blue Sihanoukville is in the heart of the city, near the beach, and offers a gym and outdoor pool. Tui Hotels & Resorts has also launched the Tui Suneo brand in China, with the 215-room Tui Suneo Shenzhen Manwan in Shenzhen.
