EasyJet holidays

EasyJet holidays’ Natasha Marson reveals the Young Agent of the Year category is one of her favourites atTravel Weekly’s Agent Achievement Awards, which takes place in three weeks

Q.Why has easyJet holidays decided to sponsor this year’s AAAs? A. We know our growth wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and passion of our incredible agent partners – it’s important to celebrate the agents who go above and beyond for us each and every day. This sponsorship allows us to give back by shining a well-deserved spotlight on those who play such a vital role in our journey.

NATASHA MARSON

head of trade distribution, EasyJet holidays

Q. How has 2025 been so far? A. We’ve had our most successful peaks season to date, with thousands of trade customers booking their holidays with us. Our fantastic trade distribution managers and I hit the road visiting more than 400 stores nationwide to offer ‘Orange Aid’ packs and goodies to get agents through the busiest period and our summer 2025 season is now set to see their customers enjoying a well-deserved break to our vast range of beach and city destinations.

Q. What are your hopes for the rest of the year? A. Our aim is to continue to support our trade partners by providing brilliant package holidays and this year has seen a great opportunity for us to grow our network of agents as we make our getaways even more accessible in key UK regions, following the launch of the new easyJet bases in Newcastle and Southend. We hope by giving our trade customers even more choice, we can continue on our journey to becoming Europe’s most-loved holiday company.

Q. How are you supporting agent partners? A. We’re underpinning our biggest summer season ever with a whole host of initiatives from our popular Team Orange on Tour (Toot) events, giving agents the opportunity to meet with hoteliers and learn more about the huge selection of packages we offer. We’ll also be bringing more colour to the high street through our Big Orange Store makeovers, whereby over 30 stores nationwide will receive an interiors transformation. This year, we’ve invited several homeworkers to our HQ here in Luton to get a behind-the-scenes look at what we’re able to deliver together. We’re also offering more fam trips than ever before to ensure agents get to experience the many destinations on offer with easyJet holidays – with our largest ever fam trip, Unpacked Fam, taking place this summer.

Q. What are your fondest AAAs memories? A. This event is something I look forward to every year – the atmosphere is electric, with everyone truly rooting for each and every agent shortlisted. It brings me joy to know that our travel agent partners are receiving the recognition they deserve. It’s always exciting to see who’s won the Young Leisure Agent of the Year Award, as it’s these people setting the standards for the future of travel.

Q. What was the last holiday you went on? A. My eldest daughter recently turned 21, so to celebrate we jetted off to Italy together to visit Sorrento, Verona and Milan – to sample some Italian cuisine, of course! We also paid a visit to the opera in Verona, a memory I’ll cherish forever.
