Back in Time for Bed offers Easter family ship visit on Rotterdam


Holland America Line will host its first family ship visit in the UK on board Rotterdam in partnership with industry initiative Back in Time for Bed. Designed for parents working


in the travel industry, the event can host up to 75 people and will take place on April 3 in Southampton, from 10am to 2pm. Attendees will be able to


preview the onboard kids’ club and its three age-based programmes, and take part in a ‘scavenger hunt’ around the ship with Easter prizes on offer. Lunch will be provided with


menu options from the ship’s Lido Market, Dive In Burger and New York Pizza & Deli. The kids’ club programmes are


for ages three to six, seven to 11, and 12 to 17.

Swan Hellenic ventures deep into the Amazonian rainforest

Swan Hellenic has unveiled four cruising expeditions in Brazil for 2027. The 152-passenger SH Vega will operate the


sailings, the first of which will be Amazonia in Depth and Lençóis Maranhenses – a nine-night voyage that leads in from £4,720. It departs on April 17 from Fortaleza for Belém, and includes six days of rainforest exploration and sailing into the mouth of the Amazon. The remaining three expeditions will take place in


October and can be combined into a 29-night sailing from Bridgetown in Barbados that concludes in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The 11-night Amazon River Expedition: A Cultural

MSC sets out its winter 2027 fleet programme for ex-UK European cruises


MSC Cruises has opened sales for winter 2027-28 trips in northern Europe and the Mediterranean. The programme includes


departures from Southampton on MSC Preziosa to destinations such as Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam and Le Havre. Mediterranean itineraries


include sailings from Barcelona, Valencia, Genoa and Bari on
