Carnival Vista will be first ship to visit Celebration Key
Carnival Cruise Line has set an official opening date for its new private island destination, Celebration Key. The island in Grand Bahama
will welcome its inaugural call from Carnival Vista on July 19. Celebration Key will feature five
“portals”. These include family- friendly area Starfish Lagoon, with two 106-metre waterslides, and Guppy Grotto, where a coral reef themed play area and two- foot-deep wading pool are aimed at families with small children. The Game Pavilion will
offer table games, a sports court for volleyball, basketball and pickleball and floating AquaBanas. Cruise-only prices for a family
of four sharing start at £984 for a four-day Bahamas cruise and £1,420 for a six-day eastern Caribbean cruise.

Windstar unveils Asia sailings on Star Seeker
Windstar Cruises’ new ship Star Seeker will offer two core itineraries combinable in 17 variations for its debut Asia season in 2026. These will be a 10-day Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand cruise and an 11-day cruise of Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Pre and post- cruise stays are also available.

Ambassador launches maiden Caribbean fly-cruise sailings

Ambassador Cruise Line has unveiled its first-ever Caribbean fly-cruise programme, which will run through winter 2025-26. Between October 2025 and March 2026, the
1,200-passenger Renaissance, which underwent a renovation in 2023, will homeport in Bridgetown, Barbados, and operate 10 fly-cruise sailings. Each cruise will be a 14-night round trip, aside from
the two repositioning cruises bookending the season which will be longer in length. Flights will be provided through Virgin Atlantic
from Manchester and Heathrow to Barbados every other Monday, with options to upgrade to Economy Delight, Premium and Upper Class. Prices for the 14-night fly-cruises start at £1,799 per
person including flights, transfers, luggage service and full-board accommodation based on two people sharing an inside twin cabin.
6 MARCH 2025 Direct and trade bookings will only be taken on a
‘call to book’ basis via the Ambassador contact centre. One highlighted itinerary is the Tropical Autumn
Escape on November 17, which will visit eight Caribbean destinations including St Kitts, Martinique, Antigua, Sint Maarten and Curaçao. The first of two longer repositioning cruises will
be an 18-night Autumn Escape: London to Caribbean Adventure, which will sail from London to Bridgetown on October 30, 2025, with guests flying back to the UK, with prices starting at £1,199 per person. The other repositioning will be a 17-night Spring
Escape: Caribbean to London Adventure itinerary, departing on March 9, 2026, with passengers flying to Barbados for the return leg by sea to the UK, with prices starting from £1,299 per person. The move follows the line’s merger with French cruise
operator Compagnie Française de Croisières (CFC).

Avalon Waterways has launched a flight and hotel package for select eight-night Paris to Bordeaux sailings. The 10-day package includes flights and two nights’ pre- cruise accommodation in Paris and costs from £1,999. Departures from Newcastle, Bristol and Glasgow carry a supplement. The offer applies to new bookings made by March 8 for departures between March and November.
