Salto to unveil new access control products and system solutions
Security Essen 2026 will once again provide the perfect setting for Salto to showcase a wide range of new prod- ucts and solutions to industry professionals. As part of its comprehensive portfolio, the company will present innova- tions spanning access control, identity management, energy management and logistics. Together, these devel- opments broaden the scope of applications and support efficient digital processes and connected solutions.
From 22 to 25 September 2026, visitors can explore the full breadth of the SALTO WECOSYSTEM in Hall 6, Booth 6B27. Alongside its established solutions, Salto will showcase numerous new products and systems launched this year or due to enter the market shortly.
Salto will present its complete portfolio at a series of hands-on workstations, where visitors can experience the solutions and workflows. Central to the showcase are Salto’s three access control platforms: Salto Space for on-premises access management, Salto KS for cloud- based access control with real-time capabilities, and Salto Homelok, the residential access solution built on the Salto Nebula cloud-hybrid platform.
Salto’s smart access solutions enable seamless digital processes and more efficient building management.
Another key focus will be on Salto IDM, the company’s Physical Identity and Access Management (PIAM) solution. This web-based platform brings identity and access management together in one central system. It helps organisations comply with legal and company-specific requirements, health and safety rules, and data protection regulations, while automating the associated processes across multiple sites.
Salto will also showcase XS4 Com, its smart video intercom solution for door communication and keyless access. Making its German debut at the show is a new IP-based door intercom station. The portfolio also includes XS4 Face, Salto’s face recognition solution for contactless biometric access. Users simply present their face as their credential, gaining fast, convenient and secure access without a key, card or smartphone.
Recent additions to the hardware portfolio include new electronic cylinder and escutcheon models, all of which will be on display at the stand. Among them are a new outdoor version of the Salto Neo electronic cylinder with a fully sealed plug as well as the Heavy Duty models and Double Reader models of the XS4 One S and XS4 Original+ ranges of electronic locks.
New extension units for the BLUEnet door controller provide added flexibility. This wireless networked solution is a smart alternative to conventional controllers, especial- ly in installations that already use a wireless infrastructure. A new exit reader controller and expansion board make it possible to operate two readers at a single door and integrate applications such as lift control. Further highlights include an online, networked version of XS4 Sense, Salto’s smart wireless energy management system. Fully integrated into the access ecosystem, it enables real-time monitoring and automated control of electricity, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, particularly in hotels and offices. Visitors to Security Essen 2026 will also receive an exclu- sive preview of new cylinder solutions and an additional management platform.

Gantner’s smart solutions complete the line-up. Among the solutions on display will be the LX Suite, launched this year. This workflow-driven smart locker platform supports the secure, controlled handover of items and documents as well as parcel delivery. Visitors will also be able to explore the eLoxx Suite for straightforward, efficient locker management and MAXXcash, the cashless point- of-sale and payment solution from Gantner DigiRest. Both form an integral part of the SALTO WECOSYSTEM portfolio and will be demonstrated at dedicated work- stations on the stand.
