engineering event in the north of the UK, including Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. We have gathered some of the highlights of the show for this preview edition. On the following pages you will find some of the products and services that you can discover at the show. Exhibitors represent a range of industries and technologies from machine turning and press brake technology to contract electronic manufacturing, electronics, packaging and handling. Visitors can see live demonstrations on some of the stands, and many companies encourage visitors to come with their plans and drawings to discuss projects with experts at the exhibition. To help the next generation
of engineers, SETA Training and Advisory Services encourages young visitors to visit its stand and discover more about its technical training courses and engineering apprenticeships. Another exhibitor, the Business Growth Hub offers business support to companies, specialist programmes and funding.
The show’s RoadRailAir feature highlights firms with particular expertise in the aerospace, automotive or public transportation manufacturing supply chain. The drive to expand knowledge
and skillsets goes beyond the exhibition floor, with a programme of free-to-attend seminars on both days. Topics covered over the two-day programme include manufacturing practices for a competitive edge, how lean and CE
marking can be implemented, and how new, emerging technologies, such as 3D printing can be optimised. Although free-of-charge, booking places on the seminar is highly recommended. Visit www.
industrynorth.co.uk to book your place. The seminar programme is on the back page of this preview, together with the list of exhibitors to help guide you around the show. Follow all the latest announcements from exhibitors
