Special Achievement Award SPONSORED BY Winner

Left to right: Host Jayde Adams, winner Tom Howley, Hansgrohe managing director Jay Phillips and kbbreview's managing editor Andrew Davies.

Tom Howley

Our recipient of the 2026 Special Achievement Award is someone whose name you will all recognise even if you don't know the person. The network of 20 showrooms that bear his name are synonymous with a very particular heritage style of classic English kitchens.

Started just over 20 years ago, after he remortgaged his house to get it up and running, it has grown to be one of the leading premium retailers in the country - in a sector of the market that has plenty of other operators trying to do a very similar thing. His

fi rst love, however, is not

business but design and while his name is still above the door, he is actually the company's Design Director,, a r

a role where he clearly f e he clearly feels

most at home and he has gathered an impressive business team around him that enables him to concentrate on those details.

And, in the last few months, he has also managed to fi nd time to be a design judge in these very awards. As he says, "all good design is just about good choices."

So a top kitchen designer and a very successful kitchen retailer, it sounds like he was made for this Award....
