Together, the conference and exhibition give decision-makers the technical, practical and commercial information they need to plan and run their data centre & digital infrastructure effectively & efficiently.

Ireland - An Active and Growing Market

Today, Ireland hosts one of the largest data centre clusters in Europe, with Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook all having facilities in the Greater Dublin Area.

But that is now … So, what does the future hold? The Size of the Irish data centre sector is set to double over the next 5 years.

Eirgrid (The state-owned grid management company) is already contracted to deliver additional Grid-Connected Power Capacity for a doubling of the scale of the data centre sector. This Is likely to result in the building of about 30* new data centres in the coming years.

Of these 30 additional data centres, 10 (circa 300MW* of capacity) are already under construction, with the balance 600MW* already having planning and grid connections approved. The majority of these are planned in and around the greater Dublin Area.
