economies of scale allow them to be more profitable, achieving earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization, rent/restructuring costs, and management fees (EBITDARM) per bed of £11,694.11
Conclusion
By 2030 over 20% of the UK population is expected to be over 65 years old and the care home environment will need to do much more than offer a variety of basic healthcare and geriatric services. Homes will also need to be designed with features that connect residents with our most universal experience of nature - the sky - and allow its healing attributes to balance our emotions and strengthen our immune response as we age. Multisensory illusions of nature provide a research-verified alternative to properties in search of optimizing interior spaces and leveraging them to boost resident wellbeing.
