The European Collection of Authenticated Cell Cultures (ECACC) is one of four Culture Collections operated by the UK Health Security Agency. ECACC supplies authenticated and quality controlled cell lines, nucleic acids and induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) globally. Established in 1985, ECACC is one of the premier collections of authenticated cell cultures in the world. The collection currently holds cell lines representing 45 different species, 50 tissue types, 300 HLA types, 450 monoclonal antibodies and over 800 genetic disorders. In addition, ECACC provides a comprehensive range of cell culture services, including cell line authentication, sterility testing and training courses.
