Remedial engineering for water systems
ProEconomy says it now offers ‘remedial engineering’ across healthcare facilities’ water systems. It said: “We can treat
your water with our Orca and Ray copper and silver ionisation units; test your water with our Tetras cloud- based water management solution, and now we can engineer out your issues with our software-backed water engineering service. At the heart of this service is our software. Through our online portal you can now track remedial actions, monitor assets, and holistically gauge the successes of our engineered solutions. In this way we aim to guide you through the process of ensuring
Integrated energy and carbon-saving
compliant and safe water. “Our software has been developed ‘in house’, and when used with our treatment, sampling, or hygiene services, comes inclusive of the price, and is bespoke to site requirements. Founded in 1993, the ProEconomy team has a wealth of water systems knowledge, so you can be reassured of a high level of service.”
Clinical facilities sooner
On Stand A69, Vanguard Healthcare Solutions will demonstrate how, specialising exclusively in healthcare, it is ‘uniquely able to provide high quality, flexible, clinical infrastructure and services, at pace’.
Vanguard offers a full turnkey solution for the delivery of both mobile and modular healthcare spaces. The company says in-house resources enable it to ‘manage the complete design process’ – from business case
approval, design, manufacturing, and site installation, through to project commissioning. It explained: “Our range of mobile and modular solutions is also unique. Mobile facilities like those currently providing the NHS with capacity for orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmic surgery, endoscopy, sterile services, and ambulance handover, can be operational within weeks of the first enquiry. Modular construction allows flexibility in design, meeting a customer’s specific needs while providing advantages over traditional methods. It minimises disruption, and supports reductions in the hospital’s carbon footprint. Manufacturing the modules in our factory enables greater quality control, and construction and groundworks coincide, bringing forward completion.”
Fire safety solutions showcased
“Healthcare facilities are busier than ever. With demand on services increasing, the pressure to ensure that buildings meet the needs of all stakeholders has never been higher. “To add to the challenge, the needs of occupants continue to change, with advances in technologies and legislation being made to promote fire safety across facilities.”
So says Legrand, which adds: “It is thus critical that those in charge of healthcare estates understand what is needed to ensure compliant environments.” With this in mind,
Legrand will showcase its fire safety solutions on Stand B16. The team is hosting two CPDs for exhibition attendees, and providing further information on the CPD- certified seminars and installer training courses the company provides for Estates managers through the Legrand Training Academy.
Additionally, with sustainability having – as
it puts it – ‘long moved from a preference to a priority in healthcare facility design’, Legrand will ‘highlight its CSR credentials for the sector’. This will include information on how the company has an EcoVadis Platinum medal, which it says puts it ‘in the top 1% of all companies assessed when it comes to sustainability ratings’.
