This seminar provides insights on best practices for cosmetic compliance and will focus on the fundamental regulatory considerations involved with marketing a cosmetic product. Presentations will cover INCI nomenclature; product labeling; facility and product registration; Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs); and the requirements for product safety in the US and EU. The seminar will highlight how to navigate the INCI database, FDA’s Cosmetics Direct portal, and adverse event reporting via MedWatch, which are key tools for product compliance. The Formulators’ Tour kicks off with a 20-minute presentation on The Wellbeing of Water. And that presentation continues on the show floor as you enjoy a guided tour and visit a thoughtfully curated selection of suppliers whose ingredient technologies expand on this year’s theme. You’ll be equipped with an audio headset, allowing you to focus on the remarks of each supplier and the tour guide’s commentary as we move around the show floor. And easily identifiable NYSCC staff will be on hand to help the group stay together.
