MEMBER ACTIVITIES Vixio and AGEM recently hosted the fourth annual Global Gaming Suppliers Seminar at the end of August. Designed specifically for leading gaming suppliers, this exclusive event offered a valuable forum for attendees to connect with peers, explore key regulatory developments, and gain practical insights from senior industry experts and guest speakers. Held at Panevino in Las Vegas, the seminar was very well attended and demonstrated strong engagement across the supplier community.

Immediately following the seminar, attendees were invited to an informal networking mixer. Open to seminar participants as well as AGEM members, and friends of the association, the reception provided a relaxed setting for guests to engage with suppliers, speakers, and peers, reinforcing the collaborative spirit of the event and creating a strong close to the day’s programme.
AGEM MEETING UPDATE 1 Te European Casino Association (ECA) recently announced the winners of its Leadership Excellence Scholarship who were selected to attend the prestigious Executive Development Programme in Lake Tahoe, from 7-14 November 2026. Sponsored by the ECA, AGEM, Clarion and the EDP, and now in its ninth year, this important scholarship continues to make a meaningful impact by supporting the development of future leaders across the European casino sector. Te 2026 programme attracted a strong field of applications from operators across nine European countries, with Peter Turpin of Grosvenor Casinos and Outi Tikkanen of Casino Helsinki selected as winners.
2 Recent developments in US–Canada tariff and trade policy have created renewed uncertainty for AGEM member companies, particularly those with cross-border supply chains, Canadian-origin gaming machines, or long-term commercial commitments tied to North American sourcing. Te current framework remains fluid, with continued escalation between the US and Canada and no clear indication yet of when the dispute may be resolved. AGEM will continue to review the situation and update the membership as and when new information becomes available. KPMG continue to host webinars on this issue and members are encouraged to contact AGEM if they would like to receive a deck of the information from previous webinars.
3 AGEM continues to work closely with the Nevada Gaming Control Board's Technology Division on modernisation efforts with new leadership under Jeremy Eberwein driving a more efficient, commercially minded approach. Te Division has also published updated technical standards, with a member

AGEM INDEX The AGEM Index rose by 54.48 points to 1,929.25 in August 2026, a 2.9 per cent increase from the prior month. Compared to one year ago, the index declined by 2.7 per cent, or 54.48 points. During the latest month, four of the nine AGEM Index companies reported stock price increases, which resulted in four positive contributions and five negative contributions. The largest positive contributor was Light & Wonder, whose 15.5 per cent increase in stock price led to a 40.57-point gain. Meanwhile, Konami saw its stock price increase by 7.1 per cent, leading to a 33.85-point increase. The largest negative contributor to the index was Aristocrat Leisure, whose 4.9 per cent decrease in stock price resulted in a 24.61-point loss to the AGEM Index.
workshop to follow in the coming months. Separately, Governor Lombardo has launched an initiative to identify up to 10 regulations for streamlining, with a workshop planned for late October. AGEM members are encouraged to submit recommendations to help shape both efforts toward more streamlined and commercially viable outcomes.
4 Tree months after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that unregulated skill machines are illegal, the 120-day stay on the decision is approaching its expiry in mid-October. Te legislature has yet to introduce any proposals for a new regulated framework, with AGEM continuing to monitor developments through its Harrisburg consultants. A regulated distributed gaming model could present a significant growth opportunity for AGEM members if introduced.
5 G2E Event Vice President Korbi Carrison gave a final update in the September meeting to AGEM members. She shared that attendee registration was tracking ahead of the same point last year, while exhibitor registration was also progressing well - a positive indication of another busy and successful show.
