Autumn Showcase

The coming together this issue of Showcase for both the SBC Barcelona event and G2E Las Vegas exhibition has provided a bumper crop of new games, hardware, software, platforms, online and physical slots, esports offerings and sports betting solutions. It’s been tricky to place so many new products in this Showcase and so apologies to anyone we may have missed - we’ll see you next time.

The timing of the events in both September and October see the industry returning to a packed timetable following the disruptions of the pandemic era. It now feels that we’re back on track with game releases and new products at pre-pandemic levels after the last 12 months of, well, fairly scarce offerings as production ramped back up after two years of restricted development.

IT NOW FEELS THAT WE’RE BACK ON TRACK WITH GAME RELEASES AND NEW PRODUCTS AT CLOSE TO PRE-PANDEMIC LEVELS

A lot of the big brands, who have been relatively quiet by their standards, are now making the kind of noise that we expect of them. I’m looking forward to being overawed once again at the massive volume, incredible innovation and sheer talent behind the creation of gaming and betting experiences. The crowds may have returned to gaming events, but the excitement? It’s not been underwhelming by any means, it’s just not the diet I’d become accustomed to from past exhibitions and shows. I realise I’ve been spoiled - but I want those times again and for the first time in the last, almost, three years, it appears that we’re about to be gorging ourselves on new experiences at both SBC Barcelona and the G2E.

The G3 team will be at both events, so if you’ve a story to tell or a new product to plug, make sure to make an appointment or just grab us in the aisles.
