Getting there Located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, the Charlotte Convention Center is easily accessible via major routes including Interstate 85, Interstate 77, and U.S. Highway 74.


Flying Charlotte Douglas International Airport is just seven miles from the Convention Center, making travel quick and straightforward. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes, with several cost-effective transport options available. Taxis offer a flat one-way fare of $25 to Uptown, while the hybrid- electric Sprinter Bus Service costs just $3.


Public transportation The Charlotte Convention Center is served by the Lynx Blue Line light rail. The nearest stop is 3rd Street / Convention Center.


Driving For those travelling by car, the Convention Center’s central Uptown location ensures easy access from Charlotte’s main highways, including I-85, I-77, and US 74. Ample parking options are available within walking distance of the venue.
