The GreenPlast international exhibition-convention focused on sustainability in the plastics and rubber industry is taking place again in May this year. The event, which combines an exhibition and conference on recycling, energy efficiency and other sustainabil- ity features, is returning to the Fiera Milano fair- grounds in Rho, Milan, Italy from 27 to 30 May. At the launch of GreenPlast in May 2022, the event had 170 exhibitors across a net area of 6,000 m² and attracted more than 20,000 visitors from 55 countries, according to Promaplast which organises the event. GreenPlast is part of The Innovation Alliance

with three other trade fairs – Ipack-Ima, Print4All and Intralogistica Italia – that will hold their events on the same dates this May, occupying nearly the entire exhibition centre with visitors able to move between all four events. “More than 90,000 attendees [at all four events]

A major element in GreenPlast 2025 is its four-day

conference, titled “Shaping a Sustainable Future for Plastics”, which is being organised in collaboration with AMI, publisher of Plastics Recycling World. “This cooperation will ensure a programme with high-level technical sessions and content, illustrating the sector’s challenges through an innovative and future-oriented approach,” said Promaplast. As well as presentations on technology and

innovation, the conference will approach sustain- ability in plastics by focusing on the most strategic sectors and analysing recent regulations and
