Visit us at Hall 6/ A11 ADK TRANSPAREX CA series materializes the ultimate
transparency of polypropylene articles with significant lower dosage. By enabling PP to replace othermaterials such as polystyrene, PET, and even glass, ADK TRANSPAREX meets the diverse requirements. Uses for Food containers, Cosmetic bottles, Home appliance, Medical equipment, Automotive parts and Building materials, etc. are recommended. Furthermore, ADK TRANSPAREXTM is approved by the
US FDA as a food contact material. This is a highly safe polymer additive that has been approved for a wide range of temperature conditions, from A to H, as well as J. Furthermore, since only a small amount needs to be added, plastic products can be usedmore safely and securely than ever before.
Achieved transparencywith ADK TRANSPAREX ADK TRANSPAREX provides the same or better
transparency and improved mechanical properties with less than half the addition compared to conventional Nonitol-based clarifiers. Additionally, ADK TRANSPAREXTM is an excellent
flowability powder form, making it easy to feed to the extruder.

diverse functions, including flame retardants, Light stabilizers (UVA, HALS), plasticizers for PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and environmentally friendly additives that promote plastic recycling or that use raw materials with a lower environmental impact. We have 16 production and sales sites in 12 countries and territories and have established a world-class technical and service structure to meet the diverse needs of the global market.
Enabling to replace other transparent polymers Polypropylene is a translucent polymer by nature. By adding a clarifier to polypropylene, it is possible to control the nucleation process during crystallization, thereby reducing the size of polypropylene spherulites of under visible light wavelength. The polypropylene appears transparent because visible light passes through without being scattered due to the much smaller polypropylene crystal structure. ADEKA has succeeded in developing ADK TRANSPAREX
by
designing a new molecular structure that can control the hierarchicalmicrostructure of polypropylene crystal to a finer level than current clarifier technology. This makes it is possible to achieve transparency comparable to that of amorphous resins (PS, PET, etc.).
