PolyOne Corporation is a major polymer compound and masterbatch producer with a global footprint and significant North American distribution activities. Its business includes four divisions: Color, Additives and Inks; Specialty Engineered Materials; Performance Products and Solutions; and Distribution. Over the past 12 months, the company has made a number of strategic acquisitions, including colour companies Rutland Holding, Mesa Industries and IQAP Masterbatch and, most recently, LFT producer PlastiComp.
