Jeroen Dewulf, age 45, is pro-


fessor veterinary epidemiolo- gy at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ghent University, Belgium. In 1998 he graduat- ed as a veterinarian; in 2002 he became Master of Science in veterinary epidemiology and economics at Utrecht


University, the Netherlands. In addition, he is involved with


several national and European working groups revolving


around antibiotic resistance in relation to animal health and resistance risks.
