WIRELESS SPRAYER CONTROL JOYSTICK

A wireless joystick providing sprayer function controls inside and outside the cab is among the features of the new Bruin self-propelled sprayer from US-based manufacturer Equipment Technologies. The 15-function joystick, mounted on the

Four innovations hit the market

We continue our uncovering of the latest technological innovations this month. Peter Hill picks out four of the best

the wireless joystick which can be taken outside the cab for remote control during calibration and visual spray nozzle checks. The Bruin machine and its technologies are based on the latest model of Berthoud’s Raptor self-propelled sprayer launched last autumn, but re-engineered to suit the requirements of row crop spraying operations in North America and eastern Europe. The Bruin is available in 2,650- and 4,160-litre (700gal and 1,100gal) tank capacities and booms up to 36.5m (120ft) with the highest clearance of any rear-mounted design on the US market, according to Equipment Technologies.
