Burd concurred. “I like to say the new facility is warm and inviting to show folks how much we appreciate the job they’re doing for us,” he added. “That’s the number-one thing. When you have happy employees, they will be with you.” Drivers were initially reluctant to work at the new
location, which is 15 miles from the main facility, until they saw it. “Now, it’s difficult for us to get people to want to come to the southern center location,” he said. “Mechanics had the same reaction at first but then they went inside. We specifically built the shop area 20
