Betsey leads the special education department for Mickes O’Toole, LLC in St. Louis. Licensed in Missouri and Kansas, she has successfully represented school districts against a variety of claims in state and federal courts, including the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as in administrative and special education due process hearings.


Patrick Mulick | Behavior Expert


Patrick is a board certified behavior analyst, a certified speaker, trainer, and coach with the John Maxwell Team, and a cancer survivor. He is an educational consultant and works as the autism specialist for the Auburn School District in Washington state.


Heather Hirsch | Minnesota Department of Education


Heather Hirsch is a school climate specialist with the Minnesota Department of Education’s School Safety Technical Assistance Center. Heather’s work for MDE addresses school climate improvement, bullying prevention and social emotional learning.
