A new exhibit at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C., documents this sordid history and the economic revival that followed recognition of tribal rights for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.

JEFFREY VEREGGE’S GODS AND HEROES S’Klallam artist Jeffrey Veregge brings the formline art style of North Pacific Coast tribes to the universe of comic book superheroes. His epic, timeless tale of good versus evil is displayed across two immense murals that make up a captivating exhibit at the National Museum of the American Indian in New York.
