Diespeker has been in business since 1881 as a specialist supplier of natural stone and manmade materials for flooring, tiles, cladding, worktops, treads and more for the commercial and domestic sectors.

Diespeker’s impressive showroom in South East London exhibits over 700 materials and designs including samples of the company’s renowned bespoke terrazzo, unrivalled in the UK and made in its factory using traditional hand casting and moulding techniques.


Recent investment in state-of-the-art stone cutting and polishing technology and a crushing machine enables the fulfilment of orders quickly, accurately and cost-effectively. The installation in 2016 of a water recycling plant for water used in factory processes is just one example of Diespeker’s drive towards improving environmental credentials within the business.

DITRA-HEAT-E Schlüter Systems


Easy to install and quick to warm up, it is the perfect partner in the creation of a long-lasting heated floor assembly. DITRA-HEAT-E is also multi-functional, providing in one product what was traditionally accomplished in several. With fewer layers required, installation time and expense are notably reduced. In addition, the low assembly heights the DITRA-HEAT-E system creates mean it is suitable for use in renovation and new-build projects alike.


The system has many features which save time for installers. It has an easy press-to-lay cable, a loose heating cable, and no self-levelling layer or primer is required; saving time on installation. It can also be tiled on immediately and its uniform spacing of every three studs means that no measurements are needed.


The DITRA-HEAT-E system is incredibly versatile and can be used on both walls and floors. Being part of the Schlüter-DITRA family, it is also suitable for installation over problematic substrates.


The system can be specified with standard DITRA-HEAT or advanced DITRA-HEAT-DUO matting. Both matting options feature waterproofing, uncoupling, crack-bridging and vapour equalisation properties, with the latter offering the additional benefits of thermal breaking (reducing heat loss) and impact sound reduction of 13dB.
