SAFER LOGISTICS THEATRE The Safer Logistics seminar and feature area will build on last year’s debut with a better-than-ever lineup of partners to provide first-class presentations tackling key safety hot spots in the world of warehousing and logistics. Safer Logistics brings together expert guidance

and advice from leading industry bodies including the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA), Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and RTITB (formerly the Road Transport Industry Training Board).

NEW FOR 2018 - THE LONE
WORK THEATRE This year the Lone Worker Feature Theatre is being hosted by the Lone Worker Safety Expo team. Speakers representing many industries will explore the challenges faced by lone
workers and share best practice on assessing and managing the specific risks they encounter. There will be interactive sessions that will provide practical tips and ideas to take away along with opportunities to ask questions to experts in their field. Whether your lone workers visit in the community, are customer facing, travel long distance or work in rural or isolated spaces, there will be vital information that will help you to ensure their safety.

EXCELLENCE AWARDS The Safety and Health Excellence Awards will celebrate innovation and achievements in the heath, safety, security and fire sectors. The ceremony will encompass the long- established British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) Awards that promote the importance of innovation and underline the highest standards of excellence within occupational safety and health.
The awards will be held at the prestigious VOX Conference Centre on 11th April 2018 at the NEC, Birmingham. With more than 350 leading safety, health, fire and security attendees on site for the Health and Safety Event and Fire Safety Event, this is the ideal opportunity for the industry to gather to celebrate excellence.
