PRODUCTS RRC INTERNATIONAL LAUNCHES
LIVE ONLINE COURSES Following the COVID-19 outbreak across the world, RRC have temporarily suspended classroom courses for the safety of learners and employees. To help learners progress with their studies in these difficult times, RRC has created a new course delivery option that blends the dynamic of classroom-based learning with its online learning.
The training and development company will be offering Live Online courses for a select number of courses starting with the 2019 Syllabus NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
The NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management and IOSH Managing Safely courses are expected to be available in the near future.
Live Online courses will run on scheduled dates just like a classroom course. Everything required to study is accessed and launched through RRC’s Learning Centre. There are specific study schedules for each day as well as resources used in the online sessions.
A typical ‘Live Day’ will include three to four hours of live sessions led by an experienced RRC tutor. When you do join a live session you can expect a varied and interactive class that features:
• Topical presentations with the ability to ask questions and discuss with the tutor.
• Activities that stimulate discussion with colleagues and the tutor.
• Poll questions with feedback from the tutor. • Collaborative activities that get everyone involved.
• Small group exercises with opportunities to feedback to the rest of the class and the tutor.
When the live course has concluded, trainees can use the normal online course as well as RRC discussion forums and tutor support to help prepare for assessments.
RRC Managing Director, Gary Fallaize, commented: “It is great to be able to bring these Live Online courses to the market, to provide our valued learners with this new collaborative learning style. Though these are challenging times for us all, we hope our learners will feel the full benefit of these courses and benefit fully from the classroom-style experience in their own homes.”
