KERAKOLL ACQUIRES PAC TECHNOLOGIES IN DUBAI TO ACCELERATE GROWTH IN MEA & GCC REGION
B Corp certified Benefit Company Kerakoll, has announced the completion of an agreement leading to the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of PAC Technologies LLC (PAC), based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Founded in 2007, by Michel Edmond Nachef, PAC is specialised in the development, production and sale of cement grinding aids, concrete admixtures and construction chemicals, as well as powder-base and liquid-base construction materials. PAC currently manages one production plant located in Dubai Industrial City, which supplies the UAE and other countries in the region. PAC products and
systems are used in many high-end projects and have a long list of professionals’ approvals and job references.
Saed Mattar, regional director MEA & GCC at Kerakoll Group, said: “This acquisition represents another bold step forward for Kerakoll in the region. The purpose of the transaction is to integrate PAC’s people, production plant and know-how in order to manufacture Kerakoll brand products locally and accelerate Kerakoll Group development plan in the area.”
The Kerakoll production localisation will allow the combined local organisation to expand business opportunities for its
current and future customers and will enhance the level of service to the market. Kerakoll and PAC intend to leverage the company’s know-how and expertise; as a matter of fact, developing the potential of the current employees’ base will be a key strategic pillar of the transaction.

Designer Contracts has announced two senior promotions along with a raft of new appointments and further promotions among its 300-strong workforce.
Lee Hassett, who joined Designer Contracts as a project executive seven years ago, has been promoted from divisional director to group operations director.
Lee started with Designer Contracts as a project executive seven years ago having previously worked as a regional manager with Carpetright, an operations manager with Trent Carpets and a logistics manager with the Paul Eyre Group. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, open water swimming, supporting charity events and spending time with his family.
Taking on the role of divisional director is Neil Lloyd. Neil, who was previously a

self-employed floor layer, has worked with the company for nearly nine years, rising from customer service manager to area manager and regional manager for the South Midlands area. When not working, he enjoys fishing.
