HOW DO I CLEAN ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORING?
Like all flooring, engineered wood requires maintenance to keep it looking its best. Oiled floors need a little more regular upkeep. That means reapplying oil every so often, how often depends on how much foot traffic your floor sees. Day-to-day cleaning is straightforward; a quick sweep or vacuum does the trick, with the occasional wipe-down using a cleaner specially made for oiled wood.
Lacquered floors are generally easier to clean; a sweep with a damp (never wet!) mop is usually sufficient. While they don't require regular re-application like oil, they will eventually show signs of wear and tear and may need refinishing after several years, depending on usage.
