Polyx-Oil Raw 3044 wood finish delivers a durable, water-and-dirt- repellent surface that smoothens wood whilst preventing cracks, peeling, flaking or blistering. Without covering the natural wood’s beauty, Osmo Polyx-Oil Raw offers a transparent coloured, matt finish. The nearly invisible appearance means light coloured wood stays light with no permanent wet effect.
In comparison to conventional finishes, the use of plant ingredients creates an evenly coloured appearance. Without requiring a primer or intermediate sanding, the product requires simple application –saving both time and money. In fact, no sanding is necessary for spot repairs or future applications.
Building on Osmo’s leading Polyx-Oil range, Polyx-Oil Raw 3044 is based on natural plant oils and waxes, including sunflower oil, soya oil, thistle oil, carnauba wax and candelilla wax. Due to the product’s natural ingredients, when dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals and plants and is suitable for children‘s toys as per EN 71.3 (European norm) and is saliva-resistant and sweat proof according to DIN 53160 (German industrial norm).
Lasting up to five years or longer, if the can is kept dry and closed tightly, Osmo Polyx-Oil Raw 3044 offers a premium finish for large or small applications. The product is recommended for use on all light-coloured interior woods, such as wooden floors and furniture. Extremely durable and hardwearing, the microporous, breathable finish does not crack, peel or flake.
