Despite their inefficiencies, spray balls are commonly seen as the preferred choice for cleaning small tanks with lighter residue. This is due, in part, to the logic that more expensive, powerful tank cleaners, such as impingement cleaners, are overkill and therefore not justified for less challenging tank cleaning applications. This logic is now being challenged thanks to the introduction of new, very fast cycle impingement cleaners (FCIC) such as the Orbitor Eco.
Based on their innovative design, the new Orbitor Eco models are still powerful impingement cleaners but rather than being geared for maximum power they are instead configured for maximum speed and water efficiency. Some sacrifices in jet length and cleaning strength are made but the new machines can complete a cleaning cycle in under two minutes with flow rates as low as 45l per minute.
The Orbitor Eco offers a greater cleaning power despite its faster cycle time, up to 95% reduced water consumption per cycle, up to 10m diameter cleaning range, and the ability to operate at 2-3bar pressures. In addition, the process of installing these FCICs to replace old style spray balls is relatively simple.
In many cases existing tanks, pumps and pipework will not need to be changed significantly. With the potential for water savings of up to 95% and cleaning cycles reduced to a few minutes, the return on the initial investment will be measured in a matter of weeks for many businesses.

The eco-friendly Oxygen-Pro system is the ideal replacement for aerosols. The Oxygen-Pro system comes with a choice of two fragrance cartridge sizes: the economical, regular cartridge works continuously for 30 days, and the low ‘cost-in-use’ Grande cartridge can be programmed to work continuously for 30 days (strong fragrance intensity), 60 days (normal fragrance intensity) or 90 days (mild fragrance intensity).
All Oxygen-Pro fragrance cartridges contain the proprietary malodour eliminator Neutra-lox, specifically designed to be effective against the smell of urine, faeces, body odour, tobacco, pet malodours, mould, mildew and kitchen smells, without depreciating the fragrance.
For facilities that desire specific malodour eliminators without any fragrance, or a very low fragrance, a choice of two cartridges are available in the Oxygen-Pro range: Neutra-lox and Kleer. ‘Kleer’ is a 100% natural plant-oil based malodour eliminator with no fragrance and ‘Neutra-lox’ cartridges have a high concentrated formulation of Neutra-lox with a hint of lemongrass.
The simple push-and-go format ensures quick and easy, hassle free service while the bright LED light and audio buzzer indicates when the cartridge or batteries require a change.
