NEW RUBBERMAID LUMECEL TECHNOLOGY SAYS “NO” TO CONTINUALLY

REPLACING BATTERIES Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) has launched the revolutionary Lumecel™, a rechargeable energy cell which transforms light into power, meaning batteries will no longer have to be purchased or replaced.

Lumecel™ works seamlessly by capturing energy from either natural or artificial lighting. This means that the energy cell will never need to be changed, making it environmentally cleaner than the standard battery powered units. This new green technology has a lifespan of more than 10 years, making it a cost-effective solution for air-care, as no batteries will need to be purchased.

This ground-breaking product is self-chargeable, yet its convenience doesn’t come at a cost to its functionality, as it performs in exactly the same way as the previous model.

WECOLINE UNVEIL

NEW RED SCRUB PAD Wecoline has introduced a new red scrub pad made from the well-known Full Cycle Americo material. This new red quality has been developed in order to obtain a pad with more cleaning power, without adding any abrasive grains to the pad. For the user this means a red pad which cleans better and faster.

The new red scrub pad has, in addition to the characteristics of the current red buffing pad, more scrubbing power, which ensures the pad cleans better and faster. The pad is suitable for daily cleaning and spray cleaning, while also allowing the user to clean more efficiently.

Of course, the familiar red buffing pad especially for extra gloss, remains within the Wecoline range.

This innovative solution is also labour- saving, as companies can rely on the technology of the product, rather than someone checking the product and

changing the battery. This product not only requires minimal maintenance, but it also doesn’t require charging before it can be used.

For Lumecel™ to work, the lighting in the washroom doesn’t have to be dazzlingly bright, either. Providing the washroom complies with the current lighting for health and safety regulations, any lighting should be more than adequate, whilst the optimum performance occurs at 300-500 lux.

Its green credentials have been further reinforced as the LumeCel™ rechargeable energy cell is from the same family as nickel metal hydride, one of the greenest batteries in existence.

The Lumecel™ technology is to be installed across Rubbermaid’s Microburst 3000 platform of air care, skin care and surface care dispensers. These dispensers are already known as innovators in the industry as they contain useful features such as a Days-To-Refill Display, a Scent Replacement Indicator; plus the option to have an audio tone.

The red scrub pad can be used in combination with standard electric floor machines and automatic scrubbers at up to 800rpm and is available in various circular and rectangular sizes.

Wecoline Full Cycle by Americo pads are made from 100% recycled material and is the world's first pad which is accelerated degradable. The production of these pads takes place in Zwolle, Netherlands, and Wecoline believe that the highest quality is guaranteed, while the pads scan be supplied directly from stock.
