WELCOME TO OUR 2020/21 CATALOGUE


Mitre Linen was established in the early 20th century by the Lawrence family.


After World War II, the company moved to Wardrobe Place by St Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London. The name ‘Mitre’ comes from the elaborate headdress worn by the Bishop of St Paul’s, whose ceremonial garments were stored in Wardrobe Place.


For over 70 years Mitre Linen has used its expertise and relationships with top textile suppliers to bring you the most innovative, luxurious and practical products. Sourced from around the world or crafted in-house by our team.

With 10 colours to choose from, our new range of Polaris cushions will add a touch of luxury, and a pop of colour to any room.


A fantastic new addition to our ready-made soft furnishings collection, Fiorella has five colourways to choose from, in an array of patterns including florals and stripes.


Launched in 2019, our Eco range is a collection of high quality organic bed linen and towelling. We have now added flat sheets for 2020. Eco’s OEKO-TEX 100 certified pillows and duvets are filled with special fibres made from recycled plastic bottles.

After the war, finding textiles was difficult, and the company began specialising in the sale of butter muslin to retailers. We began to grow and became renowned for the quality and range of our products and outstanding service. In 1955, we were awarded Her Majesty the Queen’s Royal Warrant.


In 2000, Mitre relocated to Wales, where we make, source and supply the best linen, bedding and soft furnishings to customers in the UK and beyond.
