A COMMUNITY- CENTERED MISSION
Hillary Rentfrow, Class of 2019, fell in love with studying language during her time as an undergraduate at Grand Valley State University. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Chinese studies, she returned to the university to pursue a master’s in applied linguistics. With a desire to make an impact in the world, Hillary turned to a position at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy.
