ADVANCED ACTUATORS for PROCESS APPLICATIONS
ith the Profox product range, electric actuator manufacturer AUMA offers a new platform for smaller actuators in the lower torque
W
ranges. Profox actuators are compact, smart, high performing and cost effi cient. They are ideally suited for high-precision valve control in a wide variety of process applications, including demanding temperature control loops, heating and cooling systems, and metering systems. Built-in intelligence makes Profox equally suited to open-close duty and modulating applications. Adjustable speed ensures fast and precise positioning. Operating costs are low, thanks to high mechanical effi ciency and low standby consumption. Innovative diagnostics and Fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet interfaces ensure future-proof plant automation.
Providing fast and precise valve positioning, high fl exibility and future- proof interfaces, AUMA’s Profox actuators are ideal for a variety of process applications
These innovative actuators are designed as a modular platform to suit a wide variety of valve types. There are multi-turn versions for torques of 10-100Nm and part-turn versions delivering 32-600Nm. A linear actuator will follow soon.
The compact design allows the
actuators to fi t tight spaces. IP67 protection (IP68 optional) and AUMA’s innovative corrosion protection ensure long life even under the toughest process conditions, at temperatures from –30°C to 70°C.
Profox actuators are simple and easy to use, with rapid installation and commissioning via pushbuttons or an app. Actuator status is always clearly visible, even from a distance. ●
