How to use this book


Oxford Successful Mathematics Grade 1 Learner’s Book forms part of the Oxford Successful Mathematics Grade 1course. This includes the Oxford Successful Mathematics Teacher’s Guide Grade 1 and Oxford Successful Mathematics Grade 1 Workbook.


Curriculum Coverage


Oxford Successful Mathematics Grade 1 provides comprehen- sive curriculum coverage. All Content Areas are addressed. The weighting and pacing of each Content Area is according to the CAPS. Teachers can choose to follow the course as is, or adapt and tailor it to their specifi c classroom needs.


Teaching and learning


Optimal mathematics teaching and learning is facilitated by means of Oxford Successful Mathematics Grade 1 Learner’s Book. Teaching text provides simple clear explanations of key concepts and guidelines as to how to complete activities. Language is clear and age level appropriate.
