And in AKPABUYO, where the indigenous people are mainly fishermen and farmers, most families fail to send their children to school. There are also many orphans who wander the streets. It is a harsh and dangerous fight to survive. To stop the downward spiral, we will employ a vocational program to engage the youth and give them a skill.Our Nigerian team will start by providing 10 street children an opportunity to learn a trade (tailoring, hair dressing, welding, etc.). After training, the goal is to give these students startup equipment enabling them to use their newly learned trades.
