Introduction The Lady Ross Turaco Musophaga rossae is one of the 23 species which make up the family Musophagidae. Their distribution is Guinea, Zambia, Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, South Sudan and the Central African Republic. They inhabit the canopy of evergreen forests, typically from sea

level to 1750m, but also to 2500m on the border between South Sudan and North East Uganda. They nest on a platform of sticks, built by both sexes and lay one or two eggs which are incubated by both sexes for a period of 24 - 26 days. Chicks fledge at around 24 days.
