From this specimen it is clear that the legend on the obv. reads MUN HOUS and not MUM HOUS as asserted in SCBI Norweb. In his 1855 catalogue of the Beaufoy cabinet J.H. Burn stated that ‘the acquisition of this piece has ever been a desideratum with collectors; it is engraved in Snelling’s Copper Coinage, pl.v fig. 39’
