Welcome to the September edition of Live 24-Seven. This is such an exciting edition for us here at the magazine for so many reasons.
Firstly, this is my first issue working on the magazine but although I may be the new girl round here it has been like coming home as I have previously worked with all of the team for several years before having a slight career change. I also recognise lots of our lovely advertisers too and am very happy to see the magazine has such a loyal following.
I’m reminded of returning to school as a child at the end of the summer holidays. I always secretly loved this time (I am revealing my inner Geek here), with my brand new pencil case, a new timetable to learn and the promise of new and exciting things ahead of me for the forthcoming year. I have the same feeling now taking over the editorial reins here.

Secondly, the magazine has been away for a few months due to lockdown. Whilst many of the businesses in our area were forced to close it seemed prudent to postpone publication for a few months while everyone learned to adjust to new trading practices, some of which seemed to be changing on an almost weekly basis. Hopefully the worst of the pandemic is now behind us and we can start to look forward to the rest of this year and enjoying some kind of normality.
And lastly but not least, Live 24-Seven has a new management team, with former employers taking over the titles under the umbrella of our new company Koru Lifestyle Media Ltd. We will be continuing to publish Live 24-Seven magazines across Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Birmingham, the West Midlands, the Cotswolds and the Wye Valley.
As part of this new team, I am hoping to bring you even more local content in the magazines and will always be delighted to hear from anyone with news, events and feature ideas that you would like to share with our readers. If you have any suggestions at all, please don’t hesitate to drop me an email. This month we have a host of seasonal features for you to enjoy; a look at the new autumn fashions, a focus on Hereford as it just starts to recover from lock down, wonderful specialist columns in antiques and gardening and a packed property section for those of you now considering a change of address.
