NetworkTV has strengthened its management team with the ap- pointment of AV professional Chris Kendall as director of business development. Kendall has a strong business and technical back- ground, having previously owned and operated Procon Technology - a control and signal management company that he sold to AMX in 2007. His focus will be on building client relationships and marketing, as well as new product development. After decades of experience in different areas of AV, Kendall was drawn to NetworkTV as it represents an opportunity to return to his roots. He says: “I’ve always had a passion for the technical aspects of AV. The chance to join a young, agile and technically based company, with the ability to strongly influence its growth and direction, was just too good to resist.”

According to NetworkTV director Phil Dodds: “I was well aware of Chris’ expertise, thanks to the time we spent working together at AMX. He brings to us a great blend of skills, in the techni- cal aspects of using IP technologies within product development, alongside an innate ability to manage relationships. With ambitious plans to grow our own IPTV product, and on the back of a recent distribution agreement to supply Visionary Solutions AVoverIP network solutions, it’s imperative that we have people of Chris’ calibre in place to achieve the growth we have planned.”

AV Stumpfl recently welcomed the AV integration specialist Conor McGill to their team of business development experts in the USA. McGill, the former director of strategic partnerships at Float4 in Montreal, will focus on growing the customer base of the multi award winning media server system PIXERA as a global business development manager. “I first used an AV Stumpfl product for a projection mapping project at an NFL football stadium in the USA 4 years ago. That project was a smashing success and every interaction I've had with the company since has been stellar. I feel very fortunate to have found my way to the company and am looking forward to working with old and new customers alike on cutting edge media projects with PIXERA,” explains McGill. In 2018, AV Stumpfl GmbH established AV Stumpfl Inc. in At- lanta, Georgia, and has continued to grow its team and gener- al market presence ever since. AV Stumpfl GmbH CEO Fabian Stumpfl comments on the importance of hiring new staff during the Covid-19 pandemic: “Although it is a cliché on one hand, it is true that a crisis offers opportunities. Since the early lock- down phase of the pandemic, our PIXERA team managed to train more than 300 AV professionals by way of our immersive online training courses. Many of the participants came from

the

US, which is another reason why we are very happy to wel- come Conor to our team. His wide-ranging experience as an AV industry professional and his great enthusiasm for our PIXERA product family will help our next generation media server system become a house- hold name in the US.”
