MESSAGE FROM THE CEO ASCA Foundation Partners with Global Health Organization I

n February, the ASCA Foundation Board approved a formal partnership between Partners in Health (PIH) of Boston, Massachusetts (www.pih.org) and

the ASCA Foundation. Through this partnership, the Foundation and individual ASCA members will have an opportunity to help support the delivery of health care services to many thousands of people who otherwise would not be able to obtain the care they need. After extended conversations with PIH and others, however, we now recognize that the most effective way for the ASC community to support PIH would be by providing financial support. In the future, other options to support the organization might become available. To kick-start the fundraising campaign that will support this project, the ASCA
