The 2019 winners BIFA Awards 2020 to go ahead


BIFA is planning to go ahead with the 32nd year of the Awards. Entries should be submitted to BIFA by Wednesday 30 September.


Although we find ourselves, at the time of writing, in highly unusual circumstances in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, it is BIFA’s intention to go ahead with the annual BIFA Freight Service Awards competition for the 32nd year. The traditional ceremony venue, The Brewery in central London, is booked, sponsors are being lined up and you are now invited to consider your entries. The 2020 Awards competition will consist of


nine categories for company members of BIFA, alongside the two categories for individual employees of BIFA members. As a reminder, the categories and their sponsors are: • Air Cargo Services – sponsorship package available

Enter the Awards The entry process is simple and free of charge. Go to www.bifa.org/awards later this month and download the entry form, complete your company details, indicate which category you are entering then describe your entry in 1,000 words. Entries must be submitted to BIFA by


Wednesday 30 September. Shortlisted entrants will be invited to submit


supporting information to the judging panel which will meet in November.


Save the date The 32nd BIFA Freight Service Awards luncheon ceremony will take place on Thursday 21 January 2021 at The Brewery in central London. Tickets will go on sale in October 2020.
