EUROPA INTERNATIONAL Tackling the challenges of event furniture hire head-on

If there is one thing I have learnt whilst working in the events industry, it’s that nothing is impossible. Abso-blooming-lutely nothing.

Britney Spears (lookalike) hosting a barn dance? Sure thing! Underwater (aquarium) wedding? Consider it done. Outdoor extravaganza during a typically British summer subjected to regular downpours and unpredictable cold spells? Not a problem!

Sure, we may need to get our creative thinking caps on to make a vision come to life, but with a can-do attitude and a little help from trusty suppliers even the most farfetched of demands can be achieved. But with nearly 60 years’ experience delivering and installing event furniture hire packages to the many venues spanning the UK (and occasionally further afield), it’s fair to say we’ve overcome our fair share of hiccups.

Need a conference kitting out in Kilkenny? We’ll load up our HGV and make our way to the ferry. Putting on a star-studded event in Stirling? We’ll pop our popular bar stools and bar tables in a van and be up as quick as we can! Planning a fashion show event in Cardiff? Consider our attention captured and our catwalk benches en-route.

Basically, whatever the brief, whatever the weather, and whatever the destination we will get you what you want, where you want it, when you need it (outbreaks of unexpected flu-like viruses allowing — eeeek! #topical). Because we LURVE a good challenge…

Take by way of an example a recent brief that saw us deliver a whole heap of kit to our beloved capital with all of its traffic; its heavily enforced parking

restrictions and many, many random road closures; its newly imposed 20 mph limit and its increasing emphasis on reducing emissions; not to mention the hundreds upon thousands of tourists and commuters meandering about all over the place.

And that wasn’t the end of our woes… Oh no! Once we’ve made our way through the City of London and arrived at our destination — a deliciously historic buildings with the most wonderful façade one ever did see, as it happens — the fun is just beginning.

Unloading bays — non-existent. Sizeable access points — nope.

Modern installation equipment such as spacious service lifts with high ceilings (that don’t break down on a regular basis and that you don’t need to share with catering staff… or even the general public!) — not on your nelly.

And whilst these woes are enough to make anyone dream of an easy event in a purpose-built conference centre, they shouldn’t put you off using your dream venue.

You can choose the products you want — and we can help you determine which perfectly maintained, stylish and practical products that also suit your venue are best!

Perhaps it’s our industrial style Tolix range with distressed wooden tops for those converted workshops and warehouses; our Sheva bar stools that are perfect for any gallery or blank canvas venue; or our slightly bolder marble topped Enzo coffee tables that perfectly complement a VIP chill out area in a roof top bar during an event hosted as the sun sets over the London skyline…
