Avon Badminton Club A very friendly group of keen male and female club players. We play Thursday evenings 8pm - 10pm in the Sports Hall at Stratford School on the Alcester Road, Stratford. Please note: if you are a beginner, in the interests of safety (yours and ours) we recommend you have some qualified coaching (unfortunately none of us are qualified coaches) so that you are up to a good safe standard before joining us. If you can already play to a reasonable standard but are a bit rusty we are the club for you. Our players are of all ages, young and old, but must be 18 or over for child protection

Avon Probus Club - A thriving local social club. Avon Probus Club is open to Professional and Business people who are fully, or partially retired or nearing retirement, who wish to maintain a social network with others who have similar interests. The Club meets twice a month at Stratford-upon-Avon Sports Club, located in Swan's Nest Lane. The meetings on alternate Thursday mornings include an introduction from the club president followed by a talk from the speaker of the day on subjects that are wide and varied and last about 45-60 minutes. Three lunches take place throughout the year and there are excursions to places of interest.
