Your Duquesa
Local questions for local people.
Damian Barrington of Barrington Homes
HAS DUQUESA CHANGED IN THE LAST 10 YEARS? Due to the financial crash of 2008 there has been little new construction in the Duquesa/Manilva area so the landscape has not really changed. Tis has given the Town Hall time to catch up on itself and improve infrastructure and services which have defiantly improved. Most places have high speed internet and we have seen lots of new parks and green areas all over the municipal. Tey are now definitely ready for new developments which are now being constructed and future development is defiantly in a strong position. We expect this to continue for the foreseeable future so I think my answer regarding the landscape will be different in 10 years.
HOW HAVE LOCAL PRICES BEEN COMPARED TO OTHER NEARBY AREAS? You definitely get much more for your euro in Duquesa compared to Estepona and Marbella. Prices on average are

around 30% less than Estepona and 40% less than Marbella. Tis is due to it being the last area on the Costa del sol to be development. I’m sure prices will catch up to Estepona and Marbella in the future. Making right now a great time to buy.
