We love supporting our local businesses and this month we feature Calne based Lemon Cleaning. Harry Angel from Lemon Cleaning explains, ‘Why you should love your carpets’. Spring is a time traditionally associated with cleaning and after the wet and muddy winter that we are having, who has not looked at their carpets and thought they look a bit sorry? Harry shares that apparently you cannot vacuum your carpet too often, and cleaning can also extend the life of your carpets.


Everyone likes to think their home is also their castle, and it is easy to take for granted that we live in a lovely town and community, but sadly even so you do need to be aware that there are unscrupulous people out there. We share some tips for staying safe in your own home.


February is the month of love, and we share some traditions from around the world. Valentine’s Day can be a lonely day for some, but as you will see in the feature not all countries limit the day just to couples but also use it as a day to celebrate friendships, with chocolates, homemade gifts and even poetry. We also celebrate the day with a selection of delicious recipes from a romantic breakfast to cakes you could take into your office and share with your colleagues. Turn to page 18 to discover more.
