The Installation

The installation went ahead in two phases; the first phase saw the installation of three of the Coniston Wall Mounted Canopies and the second phase saw the installation of the fourth Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy and the Langdale Cycle Shelters.

In order to ensure the handrail was DDA compliant, we installed it 1100mm from the floor.

Our installation was completed in June 2019 and the entire project was completed in September 2019, ready for the start of the new academic year.

The expansion has completely modernised the school facilities whilst allowing the school to increase their pupil capacity to from 1,100 to 1,650 across years 7 to 11. The work was carried out to provide additional places due to the number of new housing developments being built in the area.
