Contracts & Collaborations Xelion partners with NDG Technology

Xelion, the cloud telephony provider, has signed NDG Technology as a channel partner. NDG Technology will now offer the Xelion hosted telephony service to its direct customers and over 50 reseller partners. Based in Enderby, Leicestershire NDG Technology is one of the most exciting telecoms businesses, with a presence across the world including Europe and as far away as New Zealand. Xelion offers an open platform architecture that NDG Technology and its channel partners can configure to their customers’ unique needs. Unlike rival hosted telephony platforms, there are no hidden extras or chargeable bolt-ons with all features, even call-recording included with Xelion, as standard. Because Xelion has an open architecture, a RESTful API allows third-party apps such as MS Exchange and Office 365 to be integrated seamlessly with the service. For NDG Technology, Alex Bentley, Managing Director

Alex Bentley, Managing Director, NDG Technology.

stated, “We are delighted to be partnering with Xelion to offer our customers and channel the Xelion hosted platform. For our customers Xelion means no more in-house telephone systems with long-term maintenance contracts. They only pay for extensions that they actually use. And by providing a hosted telephony platform that puts our channel resellers in the driving seat, Xelion allows us to offer a service tailored to customer needs, which they cannot find elsewhere.” Commenting for Xelion, Dave Reynolds, UK Managing Director said, “NDG Technology is a dynamic and

rapidly expanding provider of voice and data services. Their decision to partner with us for hosted telephony is a terrific endorsement of the Xelion hosted telephony platform. Xelion offers true Organised Communications bringing together voice, instant messaging, sms, wallboards and much more, to deliver single service for customers on any device.”

Ideagen secures ambitious software project with Joramco

Ideagen, the UK-based, global software firm, has announced it is to supply its software to a major aircraft maintenance organisation in the Middle East. Joramco, an independent commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organisation based in Jordan, will adopt Ideagen’s Q-Pulse, Q-Pulse Risk and PleaseReview products. Joramco will use Ideagen’s software as it aims to automate and support key processes associated with its quality, safety, risk and regulatory requirements. Jeff Wilkinson, CEO of Joramco, said: “We are delighted to be working with Ideagen, a leading player in the development and provision of aviation safety and quality management software. “This is a crucial and ambitious project for Joramco for a number of reasons. We are growing at an exciting rate and as our business continues to win contracts and increases the scale of our operations, additional pressures will be added to the current manual processes. “Our skilled and highly trained quality and safety teams identified a need for an immediate change to the way in which the quality and safety management systems are managed and we are both delighted and excited to announce Ideagen as our chosen software supplier.” Operating for more than 50 years, Joramco – majority

owned by the Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DEA) since 2016 – has maintained a strong track record as a leading commercial aircraft MRO organisation. Joramco serves a wide range of customers across the

Middle east, Europe, Asia, Africa, Russia and across the Commonwealth of Independenet Estates (CIS), offering services on several aircraft models from the likes of Airbus, Boeing and Embraer fleets. The company is certified by a number of international authorities including the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the US Federal Aviation

Administration (FAA) in addition to the approval of Jordan’s Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC). The company’s project with Ideagen will see all departments

within Joramco adopt Q-Pulse for core quality and safety functions. The system will also be opened up to external organisations that are key customers of Joramco with data stored in Q-Pulse assessed through Q-Pulse Risk to provide Joramco management with detailed visibility of risks throughout the business. Ideagen’s PleaseReview – used by hundreds of organisations globally for detailed document co-authoring, redaction and review projects – will be implemented for collaboration work on internal manuals and other forms of documentation and standard operating procedures within the business. Joe Moore, Ideagen’s Aviation, Aerospace & Defence

Consultant for the Middle East, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have this opportunity to work with such an established MRO organisation in the form of Joramco. “We are confident that this project, which involves the implementation of three of our software applications, will not only meet the requirements of Joramco but exceed their expectations for efficient Quality, Safety, Compliance and Risk Management. “Ideagen and Joramco share key customers and we are looking forward to establishing a strong working relationship with the team there in what we believe will be a project with great strategic importance for both organisations.” Ideagen is a leader in providing software solutions for

the aviation market. The company has delivered successful projects with over 300 aviation organisations globally including established clients in the MRO field such as Etihad Airways Engineering, Lufthansa Technik, SR Technics and HAECO.
